Conflict Minerals Policy

Conflict Minerals Policy

As eurotecMühendislik Plastikleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş, we attach importance to sustainability in all operational and supply processes and continue our activities in compliance with the environment, human rights and ethical rules. In this context, we accept and implement the issues defined by the OECD Compliance Guide on Mineral Sourcing from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

The use of 3TG Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum and Gold minerals, which are referred to as conflict minerals at eurotec, is very limited, but we implement the following issues to manage the risk in the event of supply and expect our suppliers and business partners to implement them as well.

  • Determine and verify the origin of 3TG minerals and cooperate with our own suppliers to ensure this,
  • Make a CMRT declaration in accordance with RMI and send it to customers upon request,
  • Not offer bribes to conceal or change the origin of the minerals,
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to promote products that do not contain conflict minerals,
  • In case a risky situation involving conflict minerals is detected, notify the relevant authorities and, if necessary, cease cooperation with the supplier
  • Commit to informing suppliers and our own suppliers about this policy.

eurotecreserves the right to audit its suppliers regarding this policy and to terminate business relations with any partner who does not comply with or cooperate in the implementation of this policy.
